1993-2002 Fbody Window Regulator Reinforcement Plate Kit

A must have part when changing out your window motors! Taking apart your F-Body to do window motors? Notice the mounting holes are oblong causing slop in the motor assembly?

2nd Gen Engineering has designed these galvanized steel reinforcement plates that bolt to the door with shoulder bolts and then sandwich the fiberglass shell when you rivet the window regulator to the plates. There are SIX mounting points for extra reinforcement & locate the window regulator to the factory location.

They come unpainted as shown, and include four (4) GM style rivets ( Note: Arbor for ¼” rivets is required), two (2) Stainless Shoulder bolts & two (2) serrated flange nuts. They are designed to work with aftermarket regulators such as AISIN which requires one to hole saw the door shell to allow proper flush mounting for the Regulator/Motor. This kit should work regardless of which regulator used.
