1938 Chevy Business Coupe Street Rod

Originally built in the late 70’s/ early 80’s, the owner felt this street rod needed to be updated. 

The entire old electrical, suspension and drivetrain was removed in favor of the following:

American Autowire body and chassis electrical system

New GM 430 HP LS3 / 4L65E engine and transmission

Custom made Ford 9” rear end

Custom Stainless steel Rick’s fuel tank

13” Front and 12” rear C6 Corvette brakes with integrated parking brake

Heavy duty Walker Radiator with twin Delta PAG brussless fans

Ridetech Triangulated 4 link rear suspension with Progressive Automotive sway bar

TCI Front IFS suspension with coil overs and sway bar

Chassis is reinforced with tubular cross ‘X’ bracing with under floor brakes to keep firewall clean

17” American Racing S200 / Daisy rims

Classic Auto Air A/C system    

Bench seat replaced with Ford Fusion 10 way power drivers and 6 way power passenger seats. Set are positioned to accommodate drivers’ of all sizes

Tilt & Telescoping Ididit steering column with Lecarra steering wheel

Additionally, all new fabricated stainless brake and fuel lines along with lots of fabrication to make all the components work together.  Build is currently for sale and ready to be finished.
